ABSTRACT:

The solubility of solid solution of copper-calcium hydroxyl-apatites containing arsenate determined in the pH range 5.0-8.0 decreases with the increase in pH of the dissolving medium. This is due to the dissolved phosphate ion function as proton-acceptor and being salt of weak acid undergoes hydrolysis in the aqueous media and at a given pH also, the solubility of the samples decreases with the increase in the content of the copper and arsenate in CaHA.
