ABSTRACT:

Schiff base synthesized by the reaction of sulfisoxazole with 5-nitro-salicyladimine and absolute ethanol form complexes. Octahedral geometry has been assigned to [M (L)2] complex. Where as (M=Fe and Co) and L = Sulfisoxazole. Structure of complex has been assigned on the basis of elemental analysis, Molecular weight determination, IR, UV, and Magnetic susceptibility.
