Synthesis and Characterisation of Ternary Copper (Ii) Complexes Containing A–Alanine and Nucleic Acid Constitutents

ABSTRACT:

CuCl2 and Cu(ClO4)2 complexes of a-alanine and nucleic acid constituents viz., adenine, guanine, cytosine, adenosine, and cytidine were synthesised and characterised by various physical and analytical techniques. The EPR studies of present series of complexes show their bands divided into three types – Type I, II and III which are explained according to their band shape of the first derivative of absorption.
