Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of 2- Acetoxy Substituted Phenyl Pyrazolines in Triethanolamine Medium

ABSTRACT:

2- Acetoxy Chalcone and aqueous solution of hydrazine hydrate were refluxed in Triethanolamine for 2 hrs. The reaction mixture was cooled,filtered and crystallised from ethanol-acetic acid mixture to get 3 (2-Acetoxy - 5 - Chlorophenyl ) 1- H - 5 - Phenyl -D2- Pyrazolines. All these synthesised new pyrazolines were tested against organisms. The Minimum Inhibitory Concentration ( MIC ) values were determined by using serial dilution method.
