ABSTRACT:

The air pollution is due to increase in industrialization and Urbanization. It affect on human being and causes serious health problems. It also affects animals and plants. This study was under taken to measure the ambient air quality in Nizamabad town at different areas such as Industrial, Commercial and residential areas. It was observed that the concentration of respirable particulate matter (RPM) was above the NAAQ (National Ambient Air Quality) Standards in industrial and commercial areas.
