ABSTRACT:

New 5-aryl-3-(p-benzylaminophenyl)-1-H-pyrazolines (II a-j) were prepared by the condensation of 3-aryl-1-(p-benzoylaminophenyl)-2-propene-1-ones (1 a-j) with hydrazine hydrate. The structure of compounds (II a-j) were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR, PMR and mass spectral data. Products (II a-j) were screened for antimicrobial activity.
