ABSTRACT:

The complexes of VO(II) and ZrO(II) with schiff bases derived from ninhydrin and primary monoamines have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, Electronic and magnetic data. The results indicate the complexes are 1:2 stoichiometry of the type MOCl2L2. The coordination of five has been proposed for these complexes.
