ABSTRACT:

The quantitative reduction of hydroxylamine hydrochloride and its keto and aldehyde derivatives in aqueous hydrochloric acid medium using molybdenum (III) has been studied in detail. The analytical utility of tervalent molybdenum haiomine system has been highlighted.
