ABSTRACT:

Twelve number of metal complexes of the type MLX2 where M=Mn(ll), Co(ll) and Zn(ll), L=N-(2-thiazolyl) thiourea (TU) were synthesized. IR spectral data indicate that the ligand is co-ordinated to metal ion through S and N atom. Magnetic moment value and electronic spectral data provide evidence for existence of tetrahedral geometry around the metal complexes.
