ABSTRACT:

To have an overall idea of seasonal fluctuations in the concentrations of chloride, sulphate, nitrate, nitrite, orthophosphate and total phosphate prevailing in Halali river of Bhopal region, Madhya Pradesh, India, 12 sampling stations were established, along the river. The study revealed that the nutrient budget of Halali river is high due to the disposal of urban domestic sewage, Industrial effluents and agricultural wastes into the river at different places.
