ABSTRACT:

The proper analysis of water reflects the light on degree of water pollution by deviation from standards values of parameters either prescribed by ISI or by APHA, Physico-chemical parameterrs of handpumps of Bhopal have been analysed seasonally. Total alkalinity, T-H, Ca-H, Mg-H ranged from 28-420, 116-482, 114-412 and 21-334 ppm in winter, summer and monsoon.
