ABSTRACT:

Old parts of Bhopal city end many of the parts of new area of Bhopal has been developed unsystematicalry and neglected in its ill-repaired structures, with indifferent sanatary arrangements. The area covering sub-standard living can be treated as slums. Drinking water is the major problem faced in the slum areas of Bhopal city. The conditions prevailing in the slum area make the water polluted causing different types of diseases end thus making the life short, It is propose to investigate different water samples of the area by different means of chemical analysis.
