ABSTRACT:

Chelates of Cu (II),Ni (II) And Co (II) with 4 -Carboxadehyde -phenyl-3- methyl-2-pyrazolin-5-one,4-acetyl-1-phenyl-3-methyl-2-pyrazolin-5-one have been prepared and characterised on the basis of elemental analysis, conductivity, magnetic moment and spectral studies. The ligand show didentate behaviour. All the metal chelates are octahedral. For all chelates various ligand field parameters nave been evaluated.
