ABSTRACT:

A method is described for identification of twelve 1,4-benzodiazepines by a combination of gas -chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography, in each chromatographic procedure, only nine benzodiazepines were separated within a short analysis time. The reliability of the screening procedure is demonstrated by analysis of several illicit benzodiazepine tablet.
