Synthesis and Application of Non Toxic Acid Dyes Derived From 4,4’-Methylene-Bis-(2,3-Dimethyl Aniline)

The paper concerns the synthesis of acid dyes derived from 4,4’-methylene-bis-(2,3-dimethyl aniline). These dyes are designed for dyeing silk, wool and nylon fibres, from acidic dye-bath. The dyes were examined in respect of their application, fastness and spectroscopic characteristics.
