ABSTRACT:

Some mixed ligand phosphine complexes of Pd(O) and Pt(O) with 1,2,4- triazole-3(S)-thiol have been prepared and characterised using elemental analysis, conductometric, magnetic moment IR, UV, visible spectral data. The ligand interacts with its thione tautomeric form and ligand field bands are obscured by charge transfer bands in electronic spectra of complexes indicating high degree of d-p mixing.
