Synthesis of New Complexes of Cadmium

ABSTRACT:

This paper gives a set of new complexes of cadmium which were synthesized by the direct reaction of cadmium dichloride with different amines as liquids, namely N,N'-ethylenethiourea, N,N*-dinfiethylthiourea, N,N*-dimethylurea and 2-thiohydantoin, The newly synthesized complexes are fully characterized by elemental microanalyses and spectroscopy. Their IR and 1H NMR spectra are given and interpreted.
