ABSTRACT:

Earlier Schiff base complexes of divalent metal ions, having unusual properties have been reported1-2. In the following note some complexes of Co(Il) with 2-thiophenyl glyoxal anil. 2-thio-phenyl methyl-2'-carboxylato ketoani) and 2-thiophenyl glyoxal -2* carboxylato anil have been isolated and their structures have been proposed on the basis of different physico-chemical studies.
