ABSTRACT:

4-(Hydrazido)-3, 4-dihydro-1, 4-benzoxazin-3 ( 2H) -one has been synthesised by condensing 6-chloro-4-(carbethoxy) -3,4-dihydro-1,4-benzoxazin-3( 2H ) .0ne with hydrazine hydrate ( 80% ) in ethanol. Various derivatives of this compound have been prepared.
