ABSTRACT:

Some Aryltellurium(IV) complexes having the formula RTeCl. L (R = phenyl, p-methoxyphenyl, p-hydroxyphenyl or 3-methyl-4- hydroxyphenyl; L2- = dianion of tetra dentate Schiff base derived from acetylacetone and ethylenediamine) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, conductance measurements, molecular weight determination, infrared and proton magnetic resonance spectral studies.
