ABSTRACT:

When 4 - bromoacetophenone was condensed with aniline and substituted anilines in ethanol in presence of conc. H2SO4, affords 4 - bromo-1- [a - substituted phenyl imino] ethyl benzene. The structures of these compounds were confirmed by spectral and chemical data.
