Synthesis and Characterization of 3-(2-Hydroxy-3-Substituted-5-Methylphenyl )-5-(3’,4’-Methylene-Dioxyphenyl)-2-Pyrazoles

The work presented in this paper concerns with the synthesis of b(3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl)-acrylophenone dibromides from b-(3,4 -methylenedioxyphenyl)-acrylophenones .These acrylophenone dibromides were subjected to the action of hydrazine hydrate for the synthesis of pyrazoles and phenyl pyrazoles. Also acetyl and benzoyl derivatives of pyrazoles were synthesized. The structures of synthesized compounds have been confirmed on the basis of analytical and spectral data such as IR, NMR etc.
