ABSTRACT:

For the estimation of ascorbic acid many HPLC and UV spectrophotometric methods were developed. But this experiment is an attempt to use the conventional titrimetric method for the estimation of ascorbic acid in tablets. Because titrimetric method is easier and feasible to be carried out in laboratory. Other methods for estimation like HPLC, UV spectrophotometric methods etc are not easier to perform in laboratories & require specialized instrumentation techniques.
