ABSTRACT:

A new simple, sensitive spectrophotometric method in ultraviolet region has been developed for the determination of ziprasidone HCl in bulk and in dosage form. Ziprasidone HCl shown maximum absorbance at 316 nm in methanol. Beers law obeyed in the concentration range of 2-200 μg/ml. Result of the analysis were validated statistically and by recovery studies.
