ABSTRACT:6-(Substituted aryl)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-3-pyridazinones1-8b are obtained from hydrazinolysis of appropriated b-(substituted aroyl) propionic acid. The title compounds showed promising anticonvulsant activity when evaluated by Electroconvulsometer.
