ABSTRACT:

Chromatrographic resolution of the non-alkaloidal fraction of Heliotropium indicum gave flavonoids, 7-hydroxyflavanone and naringenin 5-methylether together with b-amyrin and b-sitosterol glucoside. The structures were established by detailed spectral analysis. This is the first report their occurence in Heliotropium indicum.
