ABSTRACT:

A of mixed ligand complexes of alkaline earth metal chelates of picolinic acid, quinaldinic acid and their N-oxides with ethylenediamine have been synthesised and characterised on the basis of elemental analysis, conductivity measurements and IR spectral studies. They have general formula ML2L' where M = Mg, Ca, Sr or Ba; L - picolinic acid, quinaldinic acid and their N-oxides; L' - Ethylenediamine.
