ABSTRACT:

The properties of flourescent brightening agents (FBAs) based on 4-methyl -7-hydroxy coumarin nucleus have been evaluated by applying them on polyester fibre, in 2% shade gave moderate to good light fastness, good to excellent fastness to washing and rubbing fastness have been studied.
