ABSTRACT:

3,5-dilodo, 2', 4'-dihydroxy-α-naphthyl chalcone;3,6,8-tribromo-7-hydroxy-4-methoxy flavone; 6-bromo-7-hydroxy-4-methoxy flavone; 3,6-dibromo-7-hydroxy-4'-methoxy flavanone; and 2',4'-dihyroxy phenyl-3', 5'-α-β-tetra bromo-β-1-α-naphthyl ketone were studied for their antifeedant activity. Chalcone have shown appreciable antifeedant activity.
