ABSTRACT:Chromatographic resolution of the terpenoidal fraction of the bark of Sesbania grandiflora furnished 3-β-hydroxy-28-β-hydroxyphenoxy olean-12-ene, which were characterized by spectral analysis. This is first reported of the occurrence of the above terpenoid in Sesbania grandiflora.
