Some 4-carboxyphenyl/4-(carboxyphenyl)-amino 3.5-dimethyl-isoxazoles have been synthesised by cyciization of 3-(carboxyphenyl)-amino acetylacetone with hydroxylamine hydrochloride and screened for analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities
