ABSTRACT:

Various 2-chloromethyl 3-(subst-arylidene)-4-(3H) quinazolinones have been synthesized using different aromatic aldehydes. Their structures have been delineated by I.R. 1H NMR and mass spectroscopy. The compounds were evaluated for analgesic and anti-bacterial activity.
