Abstract:

Copper and copper oxide nanoparticles have attracted much attention of researchers due to their unique optical, electronically, antibacterial properties and low cost of preparation. In this study, we report an environmental benign route for the fabrication of copper oxide nanoparticles using extract of E.coli at room temperature. The obtained nanoparticles were characterized by UV–Vis spectrophotometer, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS). The synthesized nanoparticles were formed fairly uniform with spherical shape determined by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) was performed to ascertain the size and polydispersity of the nanoparticles. In addition, the results were supported by UV-vis spectrophotometer.
