P. Garg, Vimal Mehra* And S. Garg*

Abstract:

The polysaccharide protein content in blood have proved to be of profound importance from the clinical and genetic standpoint. Significant increase in glycoproteins content of serum12, have been shown to be associated with diabetes, obstructive jaundice and infections of liver3. Polyacrylamide gel electrophoretic analysis is a convenient and best method of determining relative percentage of proteins as the porosity of gels can be readily adjusted to over a wide range by changing the concentration of N, N'-methylene-bisacrylamide1.
