Abstract

Several -2- phenyl -3- substituted phenyl/naphthyl -5- (W - carboxy heptyl) -4- thiazolidinones have been prepared by condensing schiff bases, from arylamines and benzaldehyde, with 2 - mercapto sebacic acid. The title compounds were screened for antitubercular activity. The structure has been studied by elemental and spectral analysis.
