Heavy metals in Shahpura Lake at two different points have been observed due to disposing off the sewage waste directly without treatment in to the lake. The quality of water contains Iron and Manganese. The concentration of these metals confirm the limits of IS 2296 (1982) Class B (Outdoor bathing) and class D (Fish culture and Wild life propagation).
