Abstract

Spectrophotometric and Optical Acivity Study of Citrate-Molybdenum (VI) Complex

K. Khosravi*, Q. Aghapour and A. Motamedi

Abstract:

Studies have shown that constituents of some plant roots form complexes with some metals. One of the most important of those is molybdenum. The fact that this metal reduces nitrate ions, and helps the synthesis of nucleic acids, and pave the way for the oxygen tranfer for the photosynthesis, which makes this transition metal more important than the rest. It was determined that optical acitivity for citric acid- hepta molybdate was at 1.5
