Various extracts of Daucus carota (Apiaceae), Hibiscus rosa-sinensis (Malvaceae), and Terminalia arjuna (Combretaceae) were evaluated for their hypotensive activity on normotensive rats by non-invasive method. These extracts at a dose of 50, 100 and 200mg/kg animal body weight showed dose dependent hypotensive activity.
