ABSTRACT:

Tolazamide, 1-Azepinyl-3-(p-tolyl sulphonyl) Ureo, trade name (tolinase) forms 2 :1 complex with mercuric acetate in alcoholic medium as indicated by conductometric titration and Job's method of continuous variation. Structure assigned to the complex is supported by analytical data and I. R. spectra.
