ABSTRACT:

A new series of oxozirconiurn (IV) chelates of 2,2*-bipyridyi mono N-oxide (BipyNO) with general composition ZrOH2.BipyO2.2H2O (X = CI, Br, I, NO3 or NCS) and ZrO (C1O4)3.3BipyO2. 3H2O have been synthesised and characterized. Thermal properties of these chelates have also been reported.
