Magneto, Spectral and Thermal Investigations of Europium (III) Complexes With Dibenzyl Sulphoxide

Coordination compounds of Europium (III) Salts with dibenzyl Sulphoxide (DBzSO) of the general formulae EuX3.nDBzSO (where X=CI, Br, NO, NO3 or CIO4 ; n=4, 6 or 8) have been isolated and characterised through elemental analysis, molar conductance, molecualar weight magnetic moment and infrared data. On the basis of above studies a tentative coordination number 8,9 and 10 has been designed. The thermal studies have also been carried out.
