ABSTRACT:

Reaction of the chloride-bridge binuclear complexes [Rh (μ-Cl) (CO)2]2 with monodentate PR3(R=alkyl or aryl) ligands yield the monouclear complexes of the type trans-[RhCI(CO)(PR3)2]. The complexes have been fully characterised by 31P-NMR and IR spectroscopy.
