ABSTRACT:The infrared absorption spectra of solid 6-Amino-5-nitroso-2-thiouraciI has been recorded on Perk in-Elmer 683 spectrophotometer in the region 4000-200 Cm-1 using KBr pellets. Laser Raman spectrum has been recorded on Spex-Ramalab spectrophotometer using 52 MG argon-Krypton laser of wavelength 488 nm. Assignments of vibrational fundamentals are proposed and tautomerism due to -SH, -OH and -NH2 groups is discussed in this article.
