ABSTRACT:

From the stem of Achyranthes aspera Linn. pentatriacontane, 6-pentatriacontanone. hexatriacontane and tritriacontane have been isolated and characterized. Hentriacontane, 10-octacosanone, 10-triacosanone and 4—tritriacontanone are the constituents of seeds of A. aspera.
