ABSTRACT:

A number of mixed of ligand Sn (II) & Pb (II) metal complexes of the type ML2HL, where M=Sn(II) or Pb(ll); L = deprotonated o-nitrophenol, 2,4-Dinitro phenol, 2,4,6-Trinitrophenol, 8-hydroxy-quinoline or 1-nitroso-2-naphthol and HL' = 2-methyl-oxine have been prepared and characterised by elemental analysis, infrared spectral studies.
