ABSTRACT:

"Pyrimethamine [{2-4-diamine-5-p-chloro-phenyl-6-rthyl}-pyrimidine], forms 1:2 complex with cupric-chloride and 1:1 complex with mercury-chloride in alcoholic solutions, as indicated by conductometric titrations, spectrophotometric measurements and analytical data. Compositions of the complexes are C12N4H13CI. (CuCI2.2H2O)2 and C12N4H13.HgCI2. Structures assigned to the complexes are supported by I.R. spectral bands."
