Water Quality of “Hathaikheda Dam” Bhopal Water Flow with Special Reference to its Suit Ability for Irrigation

ABSTRACT:

An attempt has been made in present study to evaluate water quality of" Hathaikheda Dam* water flow for a period of 4 months to assess the suitability of dam water for irrigation use. The parameters observed for this study were electric conductance, sodium percent and sodium absorption ratio. These observations confirms that the dam water is suitable for irrigation purposes.
