ABSTRACT:

'Equilibrium studies with halate ions namely chlorate, bromate and iodate in aqueous t-butanol have been performed using a strongly basic anion exchanger in the nitrate form. Conclusions have been drawn regarding the variation of coefficient with solvent composition.
