ABSTRACT:

The chemistry of 4-thiazolidinones is a blossoming field. Numerous methods for the synthesis of 4-thiazolidinones as also their diverse reactions offer enormous scope in the field of medicinal chemistry. The utility of 4-thiazolidinones as synthons for various biologically active compounds has given impetus to these studies. This review article aims to review the work reported on the chemistry and biological activities of 4-thiazolidinones during past few years.
