Synthesis and Antimicroblial Study of Some New Thiazolidinones

New anils were synthesized in good yield from substituted 1,4- dihydro 2,6- dimethyl 3,5-diacetyl 4-phenyl pyridines and aromatic amines. Further these anils were converted into 4-thiazolidinones by the action of mercapto acetic acid. The synthesized compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activity.
